Shelter. Structure. Stability. A place to call home. Sojourner Home’s Transitional Housing programs provide immediate shelter from crisis situations, while helping women and families develop the skills and resources they need to become self-sufficient.
Moving from crisis to Stability
Our Transitional Housing programs—Sojourner Home: The House of Strength (formerly Sojourner House) and Sojourner Home at Wilson Commencement Park—provide so much more than a safe place to live for families who have experienced crisis and trauma. With dedicated on-site case managers, structured life skills training courses, and nurturing youth development programs, Sojourner Home provides the support and guidance women and families need to address the issues that caused instability in their lives, including homelessness, domestic violence, mental health diagnoses, substance use disorders, family separation and other trauma.
